Enugu Assembly Order Demolition of Illegal Structures in Parks
The Enugu State House of Assembly, Yesterday, Directed the Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority, ECTDA, to commence demolition of Illegal structures in some parks within Enugu metropolis for non compliance to agreements which have hurt internally generated revenue, IGR of the State. Some affected parks includes
Nwodo Close park, Murtala Muhammed Park, Chief Edward Nnaji Park, Ejindu Park and Onwudiwe Park among others. A resolution followed a motion by Ezenta Ezeani representing Igo-Etiti East Constituency and co-sponsored by twenty-two others out of twenty four member house agreed to the demolition of all illegal structures in the said parks.
