Security beefed up in Owerri over bombing threat

The Imo State Police command says it  has beefed up security in and around some parts of Owerri municipality which  an unidentified social media claimed would be attacked by supposed terrorists.

The CP has deployed both overt and covert operatives while the bomb disposal unit has been directed to sweep  areas feared to be areas of possible attack such as world bank, douglas road, government house, central mosque, relief market, etc

He also urged the general public to go about their lawful business without panic.

Hmmmmm who no go panic.
