Ooni of Ife visits Ghanian President
The traditional ruler Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja
the second visited President John Mahama of Ghana to relax policies that
encourage the physical and mental boundaries set among African Countries and
also a part to promote Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
Oba Ogunwusi made this call with the senior special assistant
to the President of Nigeria on Foreign affairs and diaspora, Abike
Dabiri-Erewa.
For his part, President Mahama described himself as very lucky
to be the first African President outside Nigeria to host the foremost African
Monarch who is globally known as king of peace and unity.
The senior special assistant to the president of Nigeria on
foreign affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa praised President Mahama and
advocated for a deeper bond between the two countries. She also declared
Muhammadu Buhari’s resolve to provide credible leadership for Nigeria to take
its place in the comity of nations.
The forum also gave Nigerians living in Ghana the chance to
ask questions bordering on governance in their homeland.
