BAN OF OKADA BIKE FROM AFTER 7PM IN ANAMBRA STATE



Anambra State Government has banned the operations of Commercial motorcycles popularly known as Okada, after 7pm. The law was made as part of efforts to curb crime in the state, warning that anyone who flatters the order would severely sanctioned. This was publicly made known to Journalists in Awka on Sunday by Tony Nnachetta, Commissioner for Information and Communications Strategy.


 He further stated that in there has been incessant resurgence of armed robbery and other sundry crimes in the state using commercial motorcycles.



He further warned criminals and evil minded persons to desist from their evil acts or face the full weight of the law. He enjoined the public to be security conscious and offer any information to security agencies at any given time.
