DSS ARRESTS KWANKWASO’S EX-AIDE OVER BOKO HARAM SCARE IN KANO
Last week, reports came in about the confused state
of Kano following the unsubstantiated report of an impending Boko Haram attack
on schools and this led to temporary suspicion of academic activities across
the state.
According to vanguard news reported that the
operatives of Department of State Service, DSS have arrested and flown to DSS
headquarters Abuja. Alhaji Yunusa Adamu
Dangwani, Chief of Staff of Kano State ex-governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and on
e Captain Umar Abdullahi (retd) of the
Nigerian Army in Kano State over alleged involvement in Boko Haram scare that
rocked the state last week.
This happened when Captain Abdullahi circulated a
toxic sms to prominent individuals including Governor Ganduje’s family member
in Kano last week threatening to cause mayhem and exploiting the instrumentals
of Boko Haram terror machines and vowed to make kano another Somalia.
It was gathered that the suspect implicated Dr.
Yunusa Adamu Dangwanu as alleged sponsor having been given N1.5 million part
payment to destabilize the state.
An
unmentioned source according to the news report, said that further
investigations over the alleged moves to attack Kano are in process.
