TREZ SONGZ HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Trey Songz has been arrested by the Los Angeles
Police Department to face a felony domestic violence charge.
Trey turned himself in, with his
attorney Shawn Holley, for an alleged incident involving a woman he was out
with in L.A. last month February during NBA All-Star weekend.
Trey Songz is accused of brutally beating Andrea
Buera at a Hollywood Hills party where she claims he was upset because she was
talking to another man.
Los Angeles Times reports that Buera’s lawyer said
in a statement:
“Trey called her names, choked her and repeatedly punched her in the face. Several people were present and no one helped her” “When she took out her phone to call an Uber to get out of there, he threw her phone off a cliff to prevent her from leaving. She took out a second phone and he threw that off the cliff as well.”
TMZ gathered
sources who revealed that following the argument, Andrea Buera then left the
party to seek medical attention for minor injuries before filing a report with
police.
Trey (whose real name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson)
was booked at 6 AM today, and released shortly after 8 AM. He posted a $50,000
bond. According to information gathered, Trey Songz has been involved in violent incidents in
the past. In December 2016, Trey was charged with felony assault on a police
officer and aggravated assault following a concert in Detroit and this past december was sued by a woman who claimed that she was accosted, her phone smacked out of her hand, hitting her in the face when she tried to photograph with him at Philadelphia. In August 2017,
he reached a plea deal that reduced the charges to two misdemeanor counts of
