US SECRETARY OF STATE, REX TILLERSON, ARRIVES ABUJA

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has arrived the State House, in Abuja for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was received by the Foreign affairs minister Geofrey Onyeama at the forecourt of the Villa.




This will be his first trip to Africa as the senior-most US diplomat and since his arrival in the continent last Wednesday; he has visited Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya.
He is expected to stay for several hours before heading for home in the early evening.



He had initially been scheduled to stay there overnight, hold further meetings on Tuesday with US embassy staff and then fly back to Washington.
