UPDATE ON ON ALLEGED MURDER OF ALIZEE BY DANISH HUSBAND

The Lagos State Police has commenced investigation into the alleged murder of a Nigerian female artiste Alizee and her four-year-old daughter by her Danish husband, Peter Nielsen.

As  earlier reported that Alizee, and her four-year-old daughter, Petra, were allegedly murdered by her husband, Peter Nielsen, at their home at Ocean Parade, Banana Island, Lagos. Read HERE AND HERE

The command’s spokesman, SP. Chike Oti, told newsmen on Friday that Nielsen was currently being detained at the State CID, Panti Lagos, for further investigation.

He said the Commissioner of Police had deployed some crack detectives to the scene, adding that no stone would be left un-turned in the case. He however corrected the notion that the suspect is an Italian.

The commissioner revealed that he is a Danish national and the country’s Embassy in Nigeria has been contacted on the proposed investigation of one of her nationals in Nigeria.

“The suspect is not an Italian, but from Denmark. He has been arrested and transferred to the State CID, Panti, for thorough investigation by the Homicide Department.The command has also written the embassy on the suspect that the police are investigating one of their national.”
